Description
Patching up after Slash and Destroy. I reckoned that after the whole slash fiasco, Don and Mike would probably just take comfort in each other's presence... each with nothing much to say but neither wanting to really isolate themselves... y'know, bro stuff.
... I'm not exactly proud of this (for some reason it just doesn't look the way I thought it would. You know when you really didn't know how it would turn out but you know this isn't what you had in mind despite not really having anything too specific in mind? yeah...) but I spent way too long on this not to post it. And I actually did a background (kinda.) So... please let me know what you think

They were hurting physically, but Raph was hurting more because it was all his fault they were injured in the first place. You know he would rather it be HIM than any of his brothers--ever.

I definitely wish I had more time to play around with character studies and stuff (like per episode and compare the 2012 to 2003 to comics, etc.) But alas- life doesn't want me to! I'd have to say Slash and Destroy is the best episode of the latest TMNT yet (Sorry I'm a 2003 fan at heart). Leo's scenario was FREAKING hilarious! I was laughing so hard. It seriously was a well balanced episode. And UNMASKED TURTLES!!! At least Mikey and Don. I had to suppress a fangirl squeal from that. Yes I know they're giant, adolescent, talking, ninja turtles so they don't need a mask or a secret identity but it's like seeing another character without their usual costume or outfit...

Haha I love both types of feedback! I'm actually a die-hard 2003 fan as well, but the 2012 design is just too fun to pass up haha (I see them in my head as 2012 but they act more like a modified 2003...)

And oh my gosh- the teas scene.... I havent drawn anything of that yet, its just so perfect I feel as though I should let it be haha! And I get what you mean about the unmasked thing...they look kinda funny without their masks haha

I loved the 2k3 series up until they decided to change the animation style for season 5 and 6. I was at first sceptical about the series when I first came across it (only re-discovered my love for Turtles this year) I knew I was hooked by the end of the first episode but I was wary because some series have turned out terribly later down the track. But that didn't happen. By about the 7th episode in of season 1, I finally convinced myself that I loved it. It literally is a combination of everything that ever had a Ninja Turtle in it. There's references and hints to the movies (love it how Mikey says "Go Ninja! Go Ninja! Go!" in Follow the Leader) then there's the humour and craziness of the classic series and the serious and awesome aspect of the comics and the snarky, dark, and serious yet amazing 2k3 series.
Lol who hasn't had fun with their favourite characters getting injured? I couldn't draw even if my life depended on it... well I guess that is an understatement. I CAN draw but certainly not like anything you or other deviants can XD I tend to express myself through writing.
Yes the tea scene no emoticon can even begin to describe how hilarious it was. "So is there any other talking turtles?" "No, I'm the only talking, imaginative, turtle." *SMASH!* Raph and Slash drop in. "You're having TEA!" 
Oh another reason why I loved the episode. Not many shows these days actually show characters getting injured and having the injuries hinder everything. This episode had that and I was really happy they put that time in...
Speaking of which did you notice the spoof they had. When Leo first entered the little girl's room, his swords were on his usual right-hand side. But in the scene where Raph and Slash drop by
Back to the unmasked topic, I remember watching the 2003 series and I was wishing for the day to see their eyes. What do you know in the same episode I saw them all unmasked!
