Penthesilea is the proud and mighty queen of the amazons, but now her rebellious little sister Myrina, who despises taking orders, especially from her big sister, has decided she wants the crown for herself. She challenges her sister to a duel to the death, and the proud queen has no choice but to accept the challenge. They fight (for quite a long time, and it seems even longer because there are a limited amount of fighting moves you can do with about two and a half meters of space to move around in ), until Penthesilea uses her experience to gain the upper hand, slip behind her sister and slit her throat. Myrina, in the spirit of a true amazon, accepts her death, but refuses to go without taking her opponent with her. She plunges her sword into her own stomach, impaling both herself and her sister (unfortunately, our swords are too short to make it through two bodies and stick out the other end). The warrior sisters fall to the ground, and die in each other’s arms.
(Oh, and falling in the exact same direction as someone else without holding on to them is hard! About half-way though the fall, I had to go “Hey, where are you going?! We’re impaled together, we have to fall in the same direction! ”)
