“Sunset, are you sure this is safe? Those armored creatures everyone’s been talking about could be around here.”
  The blue unicorn looked back at Fleur,” don’t worry I’m sure we’ll be fine we’re just walking home,” she smiled at her, “but we can race home to be quicker if you’d like.”
  Fleur laughed, “oh please, you know I’m faster than you.”
  “Sounds like you’re scared I’ll beat you home,” Sunset smirked, “try and keep up.”
  “Wait, what,” Fleur asked, but she was too late Sunset was already racing ahead the stone path. Fleur raced after her, smiling when she caught up to her, “told you I’m faster,” Fleur said, running ahead of her.
  Turning the corner Fleur continued to run but stopped, something felt wrong. Fleur turned around and called out for Sunset. She couldn’t hear her hoofsteps anymore and she didn’t respond to her calls.
  She quickly ran back to the corner and when she turned it she was horrified. Her friend stood there frozen in gold with horror in her eyes. Fleur growled and looked around for what, or whoever did this. She then spotted a figure retreating towards the great plains, Fleur didn’t have a second thought she took off flying right after it.
  It had been a couple of hours but Fleur refused to take a break from flying, she was high up in the sky doing her best to stay hidden behind clouds so it didn’t see her. They were nearing the eastern woods Fleur was afraid she’d lose them and not find out how to get Sunset back.
  Fleur got closer and closer to the ground as she neared the forest, and when the armored creature entered the forest she landed and kept herself as well hidden as she could. Fleur could hear the creature still running through the undergrowth snapping twigs, rustling leaves, and kicking up dirt. She couldn’t see them anymore so she just had to follow the sounds of the forest and have hope.
  Jumping from log to log, she was as careful to not make a sound that’s when she saw a glimpse of blue and gold. Fleur carefully lept onto a log and stalked down the trunk locking her eyes onto them. Found You.

This is my first event piece for little pony tales and I had a super fun time drawing it! I'm super excited to see the rest of the event play out and also to draw my gal Fleur more.
