Contest entry for of Forte dressed up as Zolteotl!

BUT ALSO!

This is a glimpse into an early concept I had for our labyrinth entries. Had we continued to the finale, Zolteotl would have succumbed to their illness and Forte, after having won, would take their place as the new guardian after drinking the immortality water: a catch to living forever. He could never return home permanently (perhaps he could have visited but nothing more) and the cycle would start anew. With newly acquired powers, he would be able to counteract the Eversleep and battle it further as he continued his search for a cure.

I did ultimately end up trashing this idea because Forte's character changed. This arc only would have worked under the original plan that Forte was going to turn evil and go down a brutal dark path out of desperation. When he ended up becoming more uhh friendly?? In Round 2 and 3, it was a "welp nevermind then" situation. Zol was still gonna eat it, though lol

I also scrapped it because it was rather unoriginal of an idea, and Forte would have become Sans!Bird and that's just silly.

But hey, it makes for a cool picture! Happy Halloween everyone!!
