Lina and Rolling Sunset walked through the forest slowly falling behind their ambassador and group the rest of their group. Sunset lit her horn up casting a spell to create small bubbles of light so it would be easier to see in the dark forest. They both walked along in silence for a bit before Lina decided to speak up and hopefully begin some small talk.
“So this is pretty fun so far huh,” Lina asked looking back at her friend.
“Yeah,” Sunset responded, she kept her head down and kept glancing behind her.”
“I uh would’ve gotten us better costumes if I hadn’t thought of coming here so last minute, but you look good in green at least.”
    “I think these cloaks work fine as costumes, and thanks,” she paused for a moment,” and you look good in red.”
    Lina smiled at Sunset’s comment and continued walking with her so she wouldn’t be left alone in the forest. “Sunny maybe we should try to catch up with the rest of the group, we might have to rush a bit, I can barely see their lanterns ahead now.”
“We shouldn’t rush ahead Lina, we could trip on branches or something,” all of a sudden
Sunset’s ear’s perked up and she lifted her head up stopping in her tracks looking around her, “did you hear that?”
    “Hear what,” Lina looked at her curiously, “I can’t even hear the group anymore, maybe your just a little nervous.”
“Lina I swear I heard something in the trees.”
    “Sunny it’s ok we’re in a forest I’m sure you probably just heard an animal or something.”
“Yeah, or something,” Sunset lowered her head again and continued walking keeping an eye out behind them, Lina walked in front of her clearing the path of any rogue branches and leaves.
It had been a few minutes before either of them spoke another word. “Sunny, are you
sure you’re okay,” Lina looked back at her once again, “ we can turn back if you want.”
“I’m fine,” she muttered, “I promise.”

Both of them continued walking to the end, but they couldn't help but feel that maybe there was something watching them in those trees.

Lina asked sunset last minute if she wanted to go to the festival and they decided to try going into the dark forest. Sunset is still dealing with the effects of getting turned into gold a few months ago physically she's fine, but mentally she's nervous around big groups and is a bit skittish in the forest, but Lina is there to support her friend.
