Description
This design is inspired by the Legend of Korra cartoon mashed with the Avengers. Not only is there a connection in the colors the Avengers costumes and the main characters of LOK, but more importantly in the attacks and elements involved by each character. I incorporated these elements (metal chains, snow, electricity, etc) in the design in tribal tattoo fashion AND in a larger scale, as huge arrow tattoo on Aang’s forhead. If you look closely enough on the costume of each character, I integrated their respective symbol of the nation/organization they belong to (earth kingdom on Bolin’s buckle, republic city police badge on Lin’s belt, water tribe symbol on Korra’s chest, etc). Oh my god, this is so awesome I can't even begin! Two of my favourite things, combined together in an even more awesome thing. Really great job, combining the Avengers character with their Korra counterparts. It's very fitting and well thought out.

It´s a cool picture, totally, but I think it will be better if Asami and Mako switch places, because Mako technically has the Lightning power and Asami is a badass genius mechanic.

I actually considered that idea. I know the fire benders could control electricity but here are my reasons why opted Asami as Thor:
1. Near the end of book 1 as Team Avatar attacks the equalists, Asami uses her electrified gloves. It was because of her industry's technology the equalists use electricity against the benderes.
2. Asami, is not a bender. Same as Thor not being a human.
3. Capt. America and Iron Man have the largest roles in the Avengers, and both have several tense moments. The same goes with Korra and Mako. Asami and Thor..meh..
4. Asami's technology again has been a source of power by the equalists, same way the magic from Thor's World brought destruction (ie. Tesseract).
5. Costume color scheme. Mako is always his red signature scarf, Iron Man suit is red. Asami on the other hand wears dark gray and maroon, similar to Thor's motif.

So what was the basis for your casting choices? Because personally I would've switched Asami and Mako. To be fair, I've not yet taken the time to sit down and watch anything with Iron Man in it.
As for the overall piece, I really like the design. Very nice use of space, and the concept is very clever.

I just figured that since Asami and Tony Stark both use their own technology to give themselves "super powers" that Asami would've been cast as Iron Man. Because without their gadgets, they're both just swatting flies.
