"The Book of Thoth is a legendary book containing powerful spells and knowledge, said to have been buried with the Prince Neferkaptah... in the City of the Dead. The reader of the rolls would know the language of the animals, be able to cast great spells, and be able to enchant the sky and earth themselves. Anyone who read the book was punished by the gods (who would cause the reader's loved ones to die until the book was returned)." (From Wikipedia)

I derive so much from art.
Not only what is obvious but also what is hidden within.
A piece of the artist is always left for us, to see and admire.
A uniqueness that makes an artist stand out and for us to look on in awe....

I feel like you are speaking a foreign language...
But very lovely. I especially like the redder shade of purple.

Might be tweaked but it looks like a whole new fractal!
Awesome, as always great color pick too!

Absolutely the same, except for the FX. Instead of bypolar I used elliptic, besides, zoomed in, rotated 45 degrees and used a different gradient. And voila! I actually tried to apply julian as well and it looked pretty neat. So, maybe, in the next fractal...
You should try those gradients I mentioned in the comments to the pic. They are really awesome! And thank you!

I'd prefer to create my own gradients - which I'll do someday, I think.
One question: how do you make gradients work with final transforms? I noticed that, by using them, it's hard to preserve a lot of colours...

Liuanta In reply to heavenriver [2010-01-21 21:11:14 +0000 UTC]
I don't touch gradient on the final transform, but it is important to adjust the colour symmetry - the higher the value, the less colour variations you will have. I wonder whether you are using that.

I am, yet maybe I forgot to set it for the final transform. Hell, now I see why it looked so damn green xD
Thanks for the suggestion!
