The one in the middle is named Sylvanas Windrunner. She is known as the Banshee Queen and leader of the undead race Forsaken in the game World of Warcraft. Those around her are banshees; female ghosts with an earkilling scream and they serve as her maidens. Sylvanas herself is a banshee too however her soul was rebound to her body through foul magic by a man known as the Lich King, former prince of Lordaeron, ironicly the city under which Sylvanas and her kin has made their home: the Undercity.
Recently (more precisely yesterday in-game) she was announced the new leader of the Horde - a faction consisting of outcast races such as goblins, trolls, orcs, taurens, the Forsaken and blood elves) - when their former leader was killed. The mark on the red in the background is the Horde sigil under which she will lead the Horde against any foe standing in their way.

... That became more of a story than an explanation...

Speaking of classes, how many do The Horde have? I can't remember the names.

It's quite an awesome lore-game Amazing stories

As of the new expansion there is 12 playable classes: Warrior, Paladin, Shaman, Druid, Rogue, Mage, Warlock, Priest, Hunter, Death Knight, Monk and Demon Hunter. Since Wrath of the Lick King, I think, there aren't any faction-specific classes anymore. Now they're bound to specific races instead.

Now all of that is interesting. I did not know of the Death Knight, Monk, and Demon Hunter. However, last I heard, Taurans from The Horde can now be Paladins if I am correct? ANY race can be Warriors, that much I know.

Now my other question is to ask how many races are there? I know The Allience have Humans, Dwarfs, Night Elves, Gnomes, and some others?

The Horde has Orcs, Trolls, Taurns, Undead, Blood Elves, Goblins, and a few others? I heard that Ogre was a new race to play as.

So then you haven't played since Burning Crusade? The way you expressed yourself it sounded like you knew exactly what you were talking about. 
Yes, I did say that. Tauren can be both Priest and Paladin the lore being they worship the sun goddess An'she, sister of Elune. The correct term for tauren paladin is Sunwalker, much like the correct term for blood elf paladin is Blood knight. And yes, any race can be warrior now and all races but pandaren can be deathknight. Everyone but worgen and goblin can be monk but only the elven races can be demon hunter.

Alliance has Human, Dwarf, Gnome, Night Elf, Draenei and Worgen.
Horde has Orc, Troll, Tauren, Undead, Blood Elf and Goblin. There were rumors that Ogres would be playable but I think it was only rumors and nothing more.
Pandaren is also a playable race; once you reach the end of the starting zone around level 14 you choose to go to either Horde or Alliance.

I have not played World of Warcraft at all, I am afraid.

I am happy to hear that each race can share in such classes.

And I hope that Ogres will get their time to shine. I mean do you know how long Goblins were waiting to get the respect that wanted for all these years?

Oh, well you know quite much for not having played the game at all Most people who haven't played knows very little about it.

Yea, at the release of the game there were a lot of classes that wasn't allowed for all races like warrior. Shaman was a Horde only class while Paladin was only for Alliance. Lore-wise it makes a lot of sense, but gameplay-wise they wanted it to be more equal so that you're not forced to play a race/faction you don't want to play to be a certain class. Although I hope they won't make druid, shaman and paladin available to all races. I think it's good the way it is now

Hm, would be interesting to see how that would play out. In my head they are too dumb to be playable But yea it took a long time for goblins to become playable. I'm curious what race - if any - will be playable next.

I take my time to do a little research into a little of everything. ^-^

Indeed it is, you want each race to have their own special thing. Each side has their skills and it makes you see each race through a new light when you have to play as them.

 Hmm...what other old race from European folklore could be next? I really wonder what they will pick.
