In step 6 it shows him using spirit gum to attach it. Β This is an extremely strong sticky material that many cospalyers and makeup artists use to attach masks, horns, fake hair, etc. and that is what's holing it on his face. Β It works very VERY well, but it's also so good that if you don't take it off properly, it will rip your skin off with the prosthetic!

Yeah you really have to use it carefully XD Β It generally comes with the remover but I've pulled out an entire eyebrow before ;_;

Oh cool, for my friend's cosplay we drew the design on craft foam, cut it out, then used a hairdryer in between holding it to her face for it to form. (then spray-painted it of course)
This looks like a nice easy way to do it ^^
