Is this real?!? This is my first real look (in a photo, never seen them outside of a cartoon) of a blowfish. I never knew they were so cute. I was literally blown away.

i just found a recently dead one on the shore you can see it on my gallery. I preserved the little guy to show my bio students...[link] these organisms can be extremely poisonous! they have a tetradotoxin that makes nerve signaling malfunction ... scary stuff....... very interesting!

Pufferfish are the poisonous ones, apparently they can kill you!

ooh thanks for letting me know! ^^ because i had this game called Animal Crossing: Wild World, and I caught a puffer fish o.O. and on the data of it said that puffer fishes aren't poisonous but blowfishes are o.O. Maybe I got mistaken XD. I'll double check
