Part 2 of the conclusion of Kingdom Hearts: Broken Light

After retrieving his heart/keyblade, Night felt nothing.

He had hoped that if he could only just hold it again, that maybe, by some miracle they would merge and he would be whole again.

But nothing happened.

Nothing changed. His fake heart still hurt and the pain made his rage stronger.

Meanwhile Orien summons the rest of his keyblades to his side. Even though he hid it well, he did not expect Night to be able to take back his heart/keyblade.

That keyblade had served him well over the years and the sense of rejection he felt now was making him mad.

"It seems your heart still obeys you. Very well then it too shall perish before me. Darkness will have no place in my world!"
