Beautiful drawings, you definitely have a way of beautifully rendering the male form with both tenderness and and strengthΒ Β

Beautiful work - almost indistinguishable from the reference photo. Well done!
For anyone interested, the model is Avi Dar, Israeli gay porn actor.

Stunning workmanship. What colors did you use. I see three pencils & judging from your figures it looks like you only used those three. what colors are they?

Oh, no no no. There were many more colours. I can't recall them all but they included everything from Ebony to White to French Gray, from Rosey Beige to Beige Sienna.

How do you DO these? This is incredible. I'm still trying to figure out how to draw a simplified form -- and here you are drawing these ultra realistic hunks human figures. I'm just sitting here going hublublublublub.

HA! You made me sound out "hublublublublub," Can I blame years of practice and a love of the subject matter?

Live4ArtInLA In reply to Ilora24 [2012-08-02 02:37:07 +0000 UTC]
My best guesstimate (because I went back in afterwards and worked on darkening/highlighting) is about 5 hours - ?

To be honest, I create these drawings in such odd places and in such little amounts of free-time, that I haven't the patience, time or ability to do a proper tutorial. But, if you look through my gallery, there are a couple pieces where I have posted WIPs of my process. Hope this helps, and thank you.

I was watching this drawing for couple of days to make sure that it's not just the first sight that makes it look very special. Now I'm sure it's not the first sight.
This work is brilliant!!! Thank you for sharing with us.
