Actually it is just using the blues from the sky and the shadows caused by other trees and ext.
I use ACDSEE PRO Photo Editor and I'm able to bring out just certain colors I want out more, or decrease certain colors. It's pretty neat.
Then I also increased the contrast in this particular one, decreased the brightness and the exposure. Then of course I increased the blue, reds, greens, yellows and oranges. Decreased all the other colors and with the wind blowing and using my telephoto zoom lens, it really gave it a neat effect.

I'll have a look at that photo editor. I only use windows very basic tool. It's not really a editor and I can see the upside in using one the way you use it.

Yeah I've used the windows one before, the older and newer version and I do like them, but they do not compare at all to the one I use or photoshop.
Though I really love the one I use, it's so easy to figure out, it has everything one needs and does not overwhelm you with all this extra crap that we don't need.
It's expensive to buy it, but there is a 1 month free trial and after that, just uninstall, reinstall and put a different email, name and so forth and another month walla!
So I think eventually I will purchase a years worth of it, but for now I can't afford it at 70-100 or whatever it is, depending on the special they have running at the time.
But when you do it, do the ACDSEE Pro 9 one, it is in red. They have a bunch of different ones and the orange one is alright, but I was so pissed, I spent 60 dollars on it instead of paying an extra 20 at the time to get the red one, cause I thought it was the exact same thing... well nope! It had half of the stuff and it was missing that function to get an extremely nice and smooth background with no noise what so ever. So I was a bit pissed wasting all of that money for something that had half of the things when I just had to pay an extra 20 bucks... then a week later my computer fried, the cat split water all over it and so there went that.. and everything!

My laptop still runs on xp so I guess the options for editing anything is pretty basic lol.
I better try ACDSEE Pro 9 red. I bet I will be thrilled hehe.
