While a stunning concept, the picture fell short somewhere between the idea and the application. I really can see where you were trying to go with this, but maybe a different color of background, like black or gray would have helped this picture some. Also, the anatomy of the face is a bit off. The eyes are a bit too wide and a bit too close together. The nose is kinda funky too.
But the hair and lips are wonderful!
I also rather like the shirt...

The face though, I've never really payed much attention to anatomy. I believe art isn't suppose to have any form of structure, because that kind of ruins the whole idea of art. Art to me is suppose to be free reign to do whatever. I do appreciate your critism there though because I do think it would make the picture better, but I just can't go against my belief with that aspect. I hope you don't take that the wrong way, I really don't mean any harm.

My rules about art is kind like what Barbousa (sp?) in the first pirates of the Caribbean said. Its more quidelines, than rules, ya know?
And I think that unless you DIDN'T want to do it, it wouldn't be against your belief... Ya know?
