I recently discovered this still from the movie and I was SOOO excited when I did! It has literally been my computer background ever since.

The quote strikes home especially hard for me, because I only just published my book about Merrick (which is emotional enough by itself), but I also re-wrote the end where Merrick dies. It wasn't believable before. This time, I knew I had to go all out and completely put myself into the characters' shoes and Merrick's shoes. It was a very damaging and depressing thing to do, but I'm glad I did in the long run. All the tears were not shed in vain, because now it is more realistic and Merrick was an incredible person and deserves to be mourned--even if it is by an obscure girl 123 years after his death.

Excuse my rant...I guess I'm still venting. I went down that runway going full speed, and it will take a while to slow down.
