OMG. I have read this story and you have captured the essence beautifully! I really love your style! Such gorgeous shading, lines and texture. Your attention to detail is wonderful - I love the fluffiness of the pillow and the shadows and indents as Draco lays across it; shoelaces and eyelets, the cuffs and seams of the jeans.
The way you portray Draco and Harry is exactly the way I pictured them as I read this story. Draco is absolutely devine ... strong jaw line, toes, kissable lips and that left hand with slender fingers and lickable indent to the palm *sighs*. Harry ... well, so ruggedly handsome - treads on his trainers and his hair is alive and touchable. You are extremely talented! Thanks for posting to share. I found your work through rainsw6's fav list and so glad that I did.

OMG, Lizard, I don't know how I never got your response to my comment back in September. I happen to be strolling through your Gallery tonight and happened upon this picture, which I still love, and saw it. Sorry for delay, but always better late than never...
Yes, there is indeed a fanfic called Checkmate, it is by Naadi Moonfeather. The link is (sorry, I don't know how to insert the link) but path is: [link] . The story is a WIP, but the author does update (Chapter 13 last month-Jan 2005) and the read is wonderful. It's H/D, it's got plot, it's set at Hogwarts, it's got angst, it's got classmates. It's worth the read. Naadi Moonfeather puts details in her story the way you put beautiful details in your pictures! If you read fanfics, I believe you would enjoy it and see that your picture, which I still love (with Draco's toes sticking up in the air and that lickable left hand), captures the story.
