So overall, notes for the Powerpuff Homunculi AU:PAST:
- Professor Utonium and his partner, Mia Matters are retired state alchemists who were on the research team to make the philosopher stone (aka Chemical X). They secretly hid the chemical X to keep it out of the government's control.
- Mia has a monkey, Jojo who she teaching sign language
- They try to start a family but have a miscarriage. In their grief, they attempt human transmutation to revive their children with chemical X, however, Jojo freaks out and distracts the alchemists.
- Truth takes the Professor's voice and his partner completely for equivalent exchange, so he returns mute while she stays in the Gate.
PRESENT:
- The Professor raises Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup as a single father with instructions to not show their powers to avoid suspicion. Miss Keane also helps him out as a teacher and old friend.
- After rumors of an intelligent chimera (it's Mojo Jojo) running around the capital, Townsville starts kidnapping the people from the old research team, the Professor mysteriously disappear.
- The girls run away to the city of Townsville to find their father while hiding their superpowers.
- Mia hears all the Professor's narration of event.
