HistoryBorn to Sandstrike and Whitewing, Softkit is just full of cuddles. Her time in the nursery involved a bunch of other kits around, most of them coming from one of the clan's main families. Her most common playmate was Sawyerkit, who she asked to help her learn to shout more.... she failed, but she tried.

Once, with Beetlekit's help, alongside Boatkit, Softkit manage to get out of camp and collect flowers, shortly living as 'Flower Power Clan.' Beetlekit got into trouble for sneaking her and Boatkit out when they went back to camp.

Much later, her brother Longkit, due to being chased out of camp by Phoebekit, fell out of a tree and had to be taken to the medicine den, where Boakit's sister Skink-kit revealed how Phoebe had been treating Long. While Longkit was healed, he was to remain in the medicine den due to cracked ribs.Phoebekit and Sawyerkit went to the border, which he did, telling them to look for a snake he'd lost. Not wanting further trouble, Phoebekit agreed to go with her brother, and both were abducted by Camas and Lotus. As the rogues took the kits to Moonpeak, all descendants - living and dead - of Wrencry and Rustytalon were instructed to meet there to settle their blood feud. It was the largest fight organized in all 20-ish years of the vendetta as it was running out of time; Wrencry's descendant Goldensequoia and Rustytalon's Venomscratch had conceived a litter. It was a brutal fight, taking the lives of many including Monsterprick, Sandpiperpaw, and Eelfin.
