I felt like doing a zebra, but there are already a good deal of zebras in stipple (and other forms like stipple). So I drew an okapi instead.05 and 005 pens.

So, let me get this right. When you stipple, you draw a bunch of dots and at the end you have magically amazing picture? OO: Woooow

When I (and pretty much anyone else I've ever seen show how they create one) do a stipple, I start with a line art like anyone else. It's just a matter of shading, then, only you work with the frequency and diameter of dots instead of something like pressure of lines for other mediums.

I had to do one of these for school (4 day assignment), so I can say honostly that this was well worth the time you prolly spent on it.

LOL It would be way too much to do straight through. A stipple piece that complicated takes at least a week with a half hour here and there. Going all the way through in one sitting is stressful. x_X
