A little vent art I had laying around from before. There is something about doodling that helps me think and relax. Its therapeutic. Its as if i'm putting everything I feel into the page and letting it melt away from me.Also, I working on a re-design for Shadowseeker. I want to make her design represent her backstory a little more by adding a few chemical stains/burns and (unrelating to her backstory) make her more blue than before. I just really like shades of dark blues.
AND I feel like the way I draw dragon wings is too stiff. I want to fix that, so expect to see some experimenting around :3Β

The shape of the wings here are actually smooth and curved allowing for an easier flight. That tail is super detailed from the spines to the tiny little scales. I really like how it looks in this image really. You have added a lot of shadow and depth to the wings making it very clear they have been somewhat folded in. I really like this image.

Sure! It really started from me playing with my toy dinosaurs when I was a tiny version of myself and then I discovered dragons/dragon toys. I though they were so cool! But what really started me drawing dragons is the the Legend of Spyro game trilogy that came out few years later.Β Me and one of my friends used to play those three games all the time and we would make our own dragon ocs/sonas based off of it!Β Β

Oh wow that is so cool! It's nice to learn a little about really good artist such as yourself. I have always liked Dragons since I was little as well. It wasn't until recently I really developed for them.

Sure thing! I just kinda like making things and bringing them to life. I think it may have to do with story telling and creating characters that in exist in the little fantasy world I have in my head. (I go pretty in depth with some of my character's backstories haha). However, while I love reading books, I'm not particularly fond of writing (Mostly because I tend to be a perfectionist who is not great at catching grammar mistakes and who spends way too much time looking for them lol). So I just stick to art mediums to get a message or an idea across. Also, I find that drawing is super relaxing. I can have hours can pass by without me noticing while drawing. It helps to get my mind off of whatever is going on and instead focuses on getting the right color, shape, expression, etc..Β

I have to admit that when I draw for my own benefit I tend to lose track of time. See, you mention that you love writing character backstories and I can agree that it is really fun. i just tend not to do it because I usually do that in my stories. Just makes it easier is all. When I read other peoples stories on this website I kinda get a bit disappointed when I find that it gets discontinued after a certain point. I mean it is a bit different with short stories but my love for literature is my true motivation. Your art is truly incredible. I don't just give stupendous rating at random y'nowΒ Β But that is pretty much it for me. Creating new characters is really entertaining.

Awe, thanks!! Β I completely agree with how you feel about stories being discontinued on dA. I feel like this happens to most stories/comics as the writer/artist losses motivation for them. I completely get where they are coming from (since I have started projects before and never finished them) but it is still a bummer. Its kinda rare to find ones that are already complete. Also, its awesome that you love writing!! I can't say the same for me haha, I do it sometimes, but I like reading more. Anyway, I hope you keep at it! Its a great skill to have and a great way to express yourself! I haven't read any for your work just yet, but I'll definitely have to check them out sometime soon!! :3Β Β Β Β

I feel embarrassed about that. that's so nice of you to say to me. I still can't get over how well that was drawn though. I just loved the fire so much. Wish I could hang that up on my wall. I'm glad that you agree with me about people losing motivation too. You don't know how much it means to me. I am so speechless right now.
