Description This picture represents two of my favorite things: Redwall and origami! If you guys wanna see more, I could try making a whole horde of vermin. I couldn't decide if these were an otter and a mouse, or a weasel and a rat, you decide

Weasel: (c) John Montroll-"Favorite Animals in Origami" -I made a few minor tweaks to his design to give it a more weasel-like figure-
Rat: (c) Me

Haha nice! Fongul lives near mossflower. He travels a lot with his Best Mate Riverwyte(Yes, a different Riverwyte from Redwall). They just randomly pop by redwall for a short hello and theyre on their way again.

Heh, kind of like Darien again...
He doesn't live at Redwall, since he's always been travelling with his parents Mariel & Dandin, so I guess there's a level of freedom with him that I wouldn't get with Redwall-residents!

Exactly! It's nice to visit redwall, but fongul feels unable to explore and do as he wishes there. It's nicce to visit occassionally though

Heh, heh...

Funny, though... seems I had a similar idea with my main eagle-character Marquila, Danbuster's flying ally. He's the older of two brothers due to being hatched first (by a lightning bolt), but he made the decision to pass his birthright to his younger more peaceful brother Aquilliam.
Aquilliam now rules their native mountain home of Hawkcrag (a long-standing community of hawks in the Scuttish mountains, dating back to the Roman occupation) - a position Marquila would have held, except that he's much too much of a wild fiery spirit. He'd never have settled down to that sort of "admin role"

Plus, it's more fun to explore! Cept for those times where you run into random bands of vermin. But we know what to do with them, now don't we

Marquila: Back where I come from, laddie, we ha' an old motto: Nunquam edo amicus - never eat a friend. However, enemies are another matter. Some o' them even tasted guid!

Thanks so much! I will definetely make some. Should i make these two an otter and mouse? or Rat and weasel? I can make the rest either a group of redwallers or horde of vermin.

They struck me as a weasel and a rat, because the tail on the mustelid is a teensy bit skinny for an otter, and the posture of the rodent read "vermin" to me. That's just my opinion, though.

Ooooh, it'd certainly be interesting to try to tackle making an origami badger!

That's what I was thinking as I made them and now I think so even more. A badger would be fun! I will make one asap! Probaby tonight haha.

Thanks! Want me to draw out a diagram? I used the base(like first couple steps) from a book, and did the rest. It's really quite simple.
