I seriously am starting to think that Eriol based Nakuru off of Yuko... just downplayed. And at certain moments, Eriol would just regret making her like that (such as now, if he were there)...

Texturally? I think Watanuki in the second panel, is best... You don't really have much line work going on, a little here and there... but not much.
What type pencil do you use on this? Try going a little more clearly and darker, but with finer lines, here and there. Not a lot, but in a few different places. It could be better.
Ever tried different styles of crosshatching in the same pic?

Yes...sadly, I have learned -just today as it is- that after ten years I still cannot draw Ash Ketchum any better than I could ten years ago...at the age of seven. <<; On the other hand, my ability to draw other people and things from my head has improved drastically from stick-figures.
