Description
If you download it,
I have a nifty new macro lens. It makes me happy, hence the kitty eyeball. That, by the way, is the eye of my cat, Delilah.

No problems here. I probably need to update my rules to be less wordy anyway. I do ask for credits posted on the art's page, but as the cat eye is such a small part of the work, I won't worry about it. Thanks for checking!

Not exactly your favorite kind of art I guess ?
My question to myself was: "What, if not a cat's eye, can be creepy and beautiful in the same time?"!
Thank you again!

Not my favorite, no, but I can definitely appreciate it. I was just joking. It probably is one of the more creative ways I've seen that photo used, and it blends really well.

Lizzie-Bitty In reply to eyerae [2012-08-13 19:58:41 +0000 UTC]
Super! If I might make a suggestion, though, the slit pupil should be vertical relative to the eye in an upright position. The slit is upright, but the eye is not, so it looks incorrect. You'll need to rotate the top to the right a bit. Also, the shadow at the top of the iris probably wouldn't be so prominent in an eye open that wide, so what you can do is take a section from the bottom and flip it onto the top, and then erase where the highlight is so it still shows through, and lower the opacity so the shadow shows through just a little. The lighting looks very consistent though, which I think is the most important part to make it look like it belongs. Good job.

Love this! ^^
Also, you're lucky with the new macro lens! I'm hoping to get one for Christmas, but I may buy a whole new camera because lately, I have been having some issues with my Canon.

I hope you get the issues with your camera resolved. The macros I bought are just attachments, and they do surprisingly well considering how cheap they are. [link]
