I took this photo, and the ones in the links below, in the New York Public Library. I wish I had taken more, but this guy came up to me and told me that "professional" photography was not allowed, by which he meant that I apparently wasn't allowed to use a tripod. (What?) It was too dark to take many good photos without it, and it was only later that I remembered that as a library is a public place, I'm legally allowed to take literally any photos I want, barring any that are disruptive or indecent.
I hate it when I don't think of a comeback until later...
