I've been wanting to draw anthro Lizzie for a long time, but I haven't been happy with any of my work, so I stopped trying. But I finally got inspired the other night, and damn I'm proud of this. I don't think I've ever drawn a fullbody anthro of Lizzie yet (excluding my ugly fursuit refs), so I'm really happy to have something of my own <3 I think I've improved since 2019 c;

Lizzie has undergone a minor revamp [9/24/2020]
Her leg stripe is now only on her thigh, instead of connecting to the base of her tail.
I've already explored this in feral art, but her cheek fur has decided to obey gravity and now has a nice downward flow. No long sticks out like she stuck it full of hair gel
Her weight's been changed. I never knew how to size Lizzie, cause I liked her both ways, but I settled on her being plus-sized.
Lizzie has always been a Domestic cat, but I never knew what breed to call her. I've decided on Maine Coon seeing it fits her well and it's one of my favorite breeds
With my experimental / neon-gore artwork, I've used green as her blood. It's now canon, cause I like it

Facts / Trivia
I've always been a fan of tribal paint and facial markings on characters. I wanted something simple but memorable for my fursona since I planned to only have a few markings altogether
Circles are my favorite shape! It's satisfying and symbolic for me. I own some circle jewelry and I'm considering getting a lil tattoo ^^'
I struggled a lot with finding the right palette/design for my fursona. It took a while to actually realize what I preferred (I used to follow a lotta trends) I love natural/calm tones, with usually vibrant eyes to contrast and simple patterns. Red is my favorite color too
The name Lizzie does have personal meaning to me. However, I don't like being nicknamed Lizzie IRL, cause I'm fond of my real name too. If I decided not to go with Lizzie as my fursona's name, it would have been Destiny, my birthname AND my favorite game xD (consider it her middle-name)
I had made Lizzie with the personality that I wanted for myself. I was in a pretty dark place for a long time, and I wanted a better half, in a way. I lot's changed in 4 years and I do finally feel like I've become who I want to be c: (sappy sappy, ik)
