was trying to do something with a proper background and came out with this wierd junkyard-ish summoning scene...did it I think a week ago or so as more insomnia work. I've tried to improve it a bit since but...

I first saw this about 5 years ago. Now I'm pursuing a life as an illustrator, and I still find this painting really inspiring. Truly this is one of my all time favs I've seen on deviantart.

I found this image long ago. I love it, but it means something different for me, I think. The way I see it, that boy is surrounded by giants and he's overcome by the world around him (at least, that's what it looked to me when I saw it in tiny size). Probably, neither he's a boy neither those giants represent a threat for him; but that's the way I like to imagine the scene. Thank you for your art.

Probably heard this a million times but it reminds me of a Zelda game. Not just "calling the giants" but this picture gives off a "melancholy" atmosphere like the game sort of did. Yet, the picture is so original. Very nic job I really love it. ouo
