They're... so happy! D:Haven't submitted anything in a long time...can't be helped I guess. My teachers this semester are total slave drivers

edit: forgot to say...some have already said it, but I already know it looks very miyazaki. I was almost finished with it when my roommate came up behind me and told me it reminded her of spirited away. Then I realized she was right and accidentally hit myself in the face with a roast beef sandwich. It might have been unconscious or something... but I know for sure that the sandwich was delicious.

Wow, this is fantastic! I love the color scheme - it keeps the picture from looking completely cheerful. Sure, the mask-faces are smiling, but it probably isn't all sunshine and roses back there. Love it!

That's really interesting. It does sort of have that Spirited Away feel, but it's still quite unique in a creative sense. I really like the flow of the forms. The movement seems more paused in action as opposed to occurring, but I think it works great. Their smiling is contagious, or perhaps it was that bit about the sandwich...

They are all so happy, and yet so dark and mischevious. It seems they're all laughing about something that they did or, moreso, about something they're about to do; increasing anticipation and excitement. Even if it's something as seemingly innocent as staring someone down with those eyes, I think that's what gets me about them. Very nicely done and executed. You have amazing talent.

It certainly does look miyazaki! But more often it reminds me of the sinister clown (can't remember his name) in Cowboy Bebop. And probably a little bit of Jigsaw too...

well, I don't usually pay much attention to time... maybe five hours in total including experimenting? can't remember.
Dunno what you mean about the slow thing. What you paint doesn't matter so much as how big you're painting it when on a slow computer.

I really like this one out of your other work. I don't know why thoug... I don't think it existed by the time you drew it, but it remind me more of Ergo Proxy then Miyazaki.
