My contribution to an art trade with 6SeaCat9 . Beelzemon and Cleopamon sharing a tender moment.A bit of a departure from my normal style in both subject matter and medium. You see, back in March, I realized I hadn't drawn since December and wanted to get back into drawing again. I asked 6SeaCat9 for an art trade to get me back into practice before moving on to personal projects. However on April 1st, my laptop suffered from a catastrophic crash and everything on it (including art program and art files) was lost. I had fortunately backed up the majority of important files or was able to make new copies thanks to deviantArt, but I had decided against reinstalling Photoshop and my Cintiq, opting to wait until I got a new laptop.
After months of not having the opportunity to buy a new laptop, I decided that while I wait, I'll challenge myself artistically by completing my art trade in a medium I haven't used in a long while: Pencil. It's been a while since I've done a pencil drawing, but I think I did pretty well all things considered, and I hope 6SeaCat9 is not disappointed.
…And yeah, I'm not dead…yet.
