What's the special power that Marie's eye has? I've only ever seen it in the anime and they didn't do well at explaining.

She has a healing wavelength.
Her last name, 'Mjolnir' is a reference to Norse mythology as Thor's hammer, the god of thunder. In reference to the hammer she has superhuman strength and she releases volts of lightning while in her demon form. (It explains this a bit in the manga.) Marie has a demon form called 'Azuza' I think (not Azusa, like Yumi, one of the deathscythes) and in that form when she fights and resonates with Stein she send electrical impulses into her meister's body to amplify their reflexes to a super human speed.
Marie has a healing wavelength that suppresses madness, mainly used for extreme cases like Stein or to banish evil, as attempted in the anime with the last fight with Medusa.
Her 'missing' eye is a reference to Norse mythology as well, to Odin who gave up his left eye for knowledge. They haven't really spoken about that much but it's been hinted that she gave up her left eye somehow to gain the healing wavelength, or bring it out since she didn't have an eye patch when she was a kid.
Lightning and Love are kind of her things. Haha. Hope I answered that...?
