Sure, one could always assume Miss Wallace spends her days as a ranch hand, breaking horses, raising barnes, herding cattle and the like.

But she’s from Texas, and nobody actually does that there.

Of course, she owns a horse at somebody else’s ranch and has a nice pair of boots or two-but she’s just as much a city girl as she is a good old fashioned southern belle. (And the only one of Ash’s crew with an actual southern accent! How bout that?)

Spencer is often turned to as Ash’s hard-headed voice of reason-making her the only one Ash will listen to when told ‘yeah, your idea is terrible and you’re going to get killed’. Seeing it as her responsibility to keep her friend from getting murdered by robots, she’s done everything she can to at least prepare her for any number of worst case scenarios. From teaching her to throw a punch or two, to showing her how to properly handle firearms, to even offering feedback on any insane snooping plans Ash might come up with, this cowgirl is as protective and loyal as she is tough. If Ash is the heart of the group, Spencer is the gut.

Maybe that could be phrased better? Nah. Forget it. Spencer is the gut.

In the evenings, Spencer works as a bartender at the 35 Roadhouse, making her privy to all sorts of juicy gossip-at least when her skin-tight uniform and the drinks are doing enough favors for her clientele. This usually makes her the first resort for good leads.

Spencer and Ash have been friends since high school. While one was an overstimulated school paper maniac and the other was an FFA dork, they bonded over a mutual love of pulp mystery. They become fast friends through said paper; later working to expose an enormous car jacking ring run by the auto club. This was the first of many groups who would decide to direct their ire towards Ashley and her band of friends/enablers.

Spencer is in the unique position of being able to handle herself far better than her friends in a spot of trouble. Boxing classes as a girl and the Ruger SR9 she carries at (almost) all times make her a hard target for any would-be damsel nabbers. All of this preparedness, however, is quickly cancelled out by her extremely short temper. While many a kidnapper has found themselves on the ground from her left hook, just as many have been fortunate enough to have this birdie run straight into their clutches looking for a fight.

A fight that is over very quickly once the duct tape comes out.

Nonetheless, be very, very, cautious when you notice this girl politely taking her earrings out-because Spencer Wallace very rarely needs to throw a second punch.
