the reds work so well ps: i got some fuji sensia slides today. JUST BECAUSE OF YOU! dammit, i can't afford 120mm anymore. do you shoot 35 in your holga?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lloydhughes In reply to yes-kaboom [2005-11-06 22:27:49 +0000 UTC]

All because of me? That's a real compliment thanks
Yeah 120 is quite expensive but there is just something unique about it that makes it all worth it.
I wish I could but I don't have access to a film scanner plus no lab near me is able to scan larger than normal 35mm images so it just makes it all pointless for me. One day I will get a film scanner and shoot 35mm in the holga more often for sure.

i just stuffed up my last (and second) roll of 35mm in holga. the alignment of the film was wrong and got jammed. so upset!

Holy crap man! I was wondering where you went! When will that guy submit something? His work is soo awesome... and man you never dissapoint me with your awesome skills. This is gorgeous, not simply because the model is gorgeous (which she is), but the colours oh man. Like a caramel apple. So delicious.

I'm always so jealous of your colors.

but what did you do so that when you cross-processed her skin color didn't get all strangely colored?

I find it's just a matter of trying different exposures in order to get it right. I shot this photo twice and the one with the correct exposure came out a tad too yellow but the one I over exposed came just right. It can be hard to over expose and not have things blown out though :/

ooh, majorly cool man. she looks like a jasmine, too. the way her eyes look down and a kind of not really looking smirk on her face. i think it's wayyy wicked.

Thank you Sophie

With this particular example I shot with slide film and instead of having it developed in e-6 chemicals like it should, I instead had it developed in c-41. This is the chemical used to develop negative film. So basically it is just having film developed in the wrong chemicals with either negative film in e-6 or slide film in c-41. I've never actually tried negative film in e-6 before.

Hope that helped

awsome i thought that was it, i got confused on weither u had to just devolp slide film or weither u have to devolp it differently like with negative . thanks for taking the time
