I just realized... Cherrie made a terrible purchase with that bass guitar since it has no volume or tone knobs. Poor girl has to rely on her amp's controls and that's not good for changing the settings on the fly. I mean, it's possible, but who wants to stand close to an amp during a gig? That being said, looks like the neck of the bass is also faulty as it narrows towards the body! And is the nut placed above the point where the neck and the headstock meet? It certainly seems so since the strings already bent above the neck. Oh, and that fingerboard is certainly of looking very odd for a fretless bass as you'd expect either ebony, ebonol or rosewood β I mean, obviously it's a fretless since there are no visible frets. Perhaps a more exotic wood was used? But hey, if that's the case, then the bass would certainly be of a custom make, possibly done as a commission by some small company or an expert luthier... in which case it would cost thousands of U.S. dollars. But if that's the case, then Cherrie got ripped off even more, since no respectable luthier and/or guitar manufacturer would put out a faulty product with such shoddy craftmanship.
Well, either it's all that or whoever drew this has no clue on how bass guitars work.
