What if manga characters didn't all magically speak the same language? The world of Jojo wouldn't work! Oh Araki, if only the real world could be like it is in your head . . .Special thanks to Kittystix ( [link] ) for the French translation, and Setzeri ( [link] ) for the inspiration to do this comic.

Actually, it's a bit wrong.
The correct translation would be:Β
Vous m'avez vaincu honorablement, je voudrais vous rejoindre dans votre quΓͺte pour arrΓͺter le diabolique Dio !
And before you ask why I say this, well it's clearly google translated. "Vous avez me vaincu" isn't a correct sentence in French.
And before you ask how I can possibly know this, I'm French.

Heh well the translation came from a Canadian French speaker, so I can accept that it could be wrong.

I just assumed they were all speaking English to one another and it was just translated into Japanese for the readers' convenience.

I could imagine Jotaro and Kakyoin being able to speak at least some English, seeing as it is taught in Japanese schools. Avdol speaking English is also fairly believeable, as is Polnareff. And Joseph's traveled the world, he's definitely a polyglot so he could work as a translator just in case there are any language barriers between the team.
Battle Tendency is similar. Joseph back then could probably only speak English, but Ceasar and Suzie Q could probably speak some of it in addition to their native Italian, similar to Stroheim and German. Lisa Lisa no doubt could speak English and Italian well, so she could be a translator. And of course the Pillar Men can learn any language within minutes.
And you wouldn't even need to worry about the other parts except maybe Steel Ball Run since each one is pretty self-contained within a single country. (Everybody speaks Japanese in Parts 4 and 8, Italian in 5, English in 1, 6, and 7...)

You all forget Star Wars. each character speak his own, weird language, yet everyone understands clearly each other.
The classic example is Solo and Chewbacca:
Chewy: GRRRRRRRWWWWWAAAAAAAAANNNN...
Solo: Oh, we need more energy on the deflector shields!

Yep, this comic needed to be made. Someone was saying on the Jojo forums that they should make a new Jojo anime and have everyone speaking with at least the accents of their native countries, if not have every character speaking more of their own language.

I remember in one of bruce lee's movies. In the dubbed version both the japanese and the chinese speak english, yet, they cant understand each other
