David Bowie as Ziggy - I enjoyed drawing this, it was a difficult task, that's for sure!! Trust David to have one different sized pupil haha.• I didn't add glitter to his forehead, fingernails or lip because in black and gray, it looks like he has GIANT pores.
• Whole thing took about 2 hours, give or take a little.
• Had a minor touch up with the left side, had to digitally fill it in with the black.
Other than that, enjoy!
Edit I darkened the eyes as suggested by Dizzy Edge. Thanks for the advice!

Bowie is, was and will always be a hero for me, and my generation (I could beyour parents dad). David's eye's are odd sizes and colours, because his brother stabbed him in the eye with a fork when david was a kid. Great work. John

Gahh! You have no idea how much I love Ziggy! I was looking through your gallery, and first I find Bandit Lee's hotdog costume, and now this!!! You just made my night. Twice!
You did a beautiful job with this, and I can really tell you worked hard on the eyes! His eyes are so beautiful, but they've GOT to be the hardest thing in the entire world to draw! I think that the glitter thing was a very good call as well - I would've probably ruined this piece trying to get it right over and over again if it were my own.
I tried doing a pencil portrait a few years ago (I wasn't as into art as I am now), but I failed miserably, and I haven't even tried one since for fear it wouldn't work out. I think you've inspired me to try once again!!

You might want to try adding more detail to the eyes, like the iris is usually darker in the upper part (under the eyelid).
