i have new pony designs for the new year kinda

ok so. I once tried making a knock off anime version of mlp. now i'm thinking of remaking everything as an mlp au
i will talk about it in another post but so far here's bootleg pinkie pie
the old version (Cheddar Chime) is on the left and the new version (Charcuterie) is on the right

Name
so i originally got the characters names from Behind The Names' random name generator, specifically by setting it to Fantasy
some of the names were good, other times it was.. eh.
Pinkie's bootleg name was "Jeicham Gauzi," which I originally changed to Cheese Chime, or Cheddar Chime. It's probably a weird name but eh
then somehow i got the name Charcuterie, and I thought it would work since this is bootleg pinkie we're talking about
it's not candy related but i think it's ok. it's still cheese related so that works

Colors
I also got all of the color palettes from Colourpod on tumblr. Jeicham's color palette was Dustbowl
then i thought of getting new color palettes from Coolors to make unique color palettes
at one point i came up with the color palette for Charcuterie at random. The palette was almost unused, i just saved it because i thought it looked cool
i then noticed the palettes both had a yellow and blue color involved, so i chose the palette, which i originally called "Grape fruit juice"
(also back when i just straight up stole the original mlp designs, i gave Jeicham stripes. maybe that could stick for Charcuterie?)

Story
the most unique trait i had for her character from what I remember is that she wanted to become a pilot even though she's an earth pony
as of now I have thought of new traits that would include her coming from a more rich background, such as a family that runs famous fancy restaurants
honestly, even though her backstory is probably more cliche, i think i have a better idea on her backstory than before
i was originally just going to make Cheddar adopted, without any other idea for her family and that was it

also for the art style and design, i gave Chedder/Charcuterie cat like tails. from what i remember i based that on 's Wild mlp au where the earth ponies had tails
i also have a new art style. Hopefully i can find one to stick to as my main art style. either way, i like the style here, it's blocky and bright kinda
