Beautiful work with acrylics a lovely traditional masterpiece... 
Yeah western faces aren't the prettiest to draw but they are fairly simple if you change the face into shapes and then shade around the shapes... you just have to acentuate and harshen all the features, big bushy eyebrows

This is quite beautiful. I hate to think that people would close off to an art class like that and say Draw only one race. I'm all for drawing all different races to broaden horizons, but saying only Western? hmmm

I'm glad you did this!! I think eye just stared at it for 60 second undistracted. I had to take in all the details. It looks like him to every degree.
I don't care if westerners have more bone structure some how it sounds wrong to say "Only draw them." I mean if he wants you to improve on them...eh ok but if his class is solely based on our culture it sounds horribly wrong to me.
