A little xmas thing.

Wood and nature is a theme in this illustration and it made sense to me to use coloured pencils, a "wooden tool" for it.

I researched finish quilts and symbols for hours to get the design of that blanket, as well as reindeer, how they sit, what their antlers look like, etc.

Also, there are five runes on the coat that spell "Klaus".

Looks like a simple drawing, but there is a lot of work that goes into preparing the first ideas and sketch and working out a composition.
