es un género representado por una única especie de dinosaurio terópodo con plumas, Habitó la región de Lanayru millones de años antes de la guerra de las deidades. El fósil, extremadamente bien preservado, muestra que Loftpteryx estuvo cubierto con una capa de plumas muy simples.

Loftraptor (Velocirraptor)

Fósiles de Loftsauridos más primitivos que Velociraptor son conocidos por tener plumas que cubren sus cuerpos, además de brazos con plumas totalmente desarrolladas. El hecho de que los ancestros de Loftraptor fueran emplumados y con alguna capacidad de vuelo sugiere que Loftraptor también llevaba plumas.

Archaeoptwing (Archaeopteryx)

Los especímenes de archeoptwing son relevantes debido a su morfología transicional y la presencia de plumas bien desarrolladas. Se parece básicamente a un dinosaurio Loftsaurido , y presenta rasgos propios de este grupo: una larga cola ósea, presencia de garras en los dedos y de dientes en las mandíbulas. No se sabe con certeza si podían batir las alas con fuerza y realizar un vuelo completo, o sólo un planeo.

Aves de gran tamaño, Emigraron a los cielos cuando la guerra entre deidades, Actualmente son usados como medio de transporte en las islas flotantes, no tienen muy buena visión nocturna, y son lo suficientemente fuertes para cargar a dos personas en sus lomos mientras vuelan.
Fueron regalados por la diosa Hylia a la gente de las tierras inferiores para que ascendieran a los cielos.
