Is the pattern on both sides of the piece?

An intriguing piece! What, if I may ask, steel did you make use of please? Also, is it homogenous or non-etched Damascus please?? When my friends and I played around, we use old logging cable and BIG band-saw blades cut and inserted into the weaves for contrasting colours with an acid-etch for detailing. Tempering was a bit of an issue sadly!

Pretty sure he forged it out of a rebar pole, and those are the original rebar's grooves

I see a shark fin coming out of waves, so Mako or Thresher perhaps, Logan? XD

Mako is taken already (one of my favourites: logan-pearce.deviantart.com/ar⦠). Thresher sounds pretty cool, but probably needs to be a bit longer to fit with the signature long tails. Perhaps something like Tiger to reference the stripes? I like the shark imagery, though.
