I personally like the grainy-ness (lol for technical wording there) of this as it gives more texture to the skin. The contrast between the colours of the left and right are interesting, I guess the one on the right is a little distracting but at the same time I do like the two colours - I would suggest perhaps adding more contrast to the image on the left so that it isn't quite so over-powered.
Out of the two I prefer the one to the left, I find the angle and the lighting more more appealing - the latter because there are more shadows cast.

I love textures too. Personally I think that rather than the cropping/closer angle that it is the colour that causes it to be more dominating. It is quite yellow in tone and I have always found the black/yellow contrast stronger than black/white. I suppose it could also be that the strongest point of contrast is more in the center of the image as a whole on the right image whereas on the one on the left it is more to the side.
I would actually suggest seperating the two images - I am a little bit unsure about whether or not the right one would work on its own but the one on the left would definitely be much stronger as a stand alone image.

I found this photograph in #ProjectComment 's gallery. I'm not a great fan of nude art, but I can appreciate some. In this case I unfortunately dislike the effect. There's simply nothing original in the composition. I fullviewed the picture and the quality is also quite poor. Apart from that the monochrome on the left and sepia/colour on the right are too distracting together. I hope you treat this critique as a constructive one, not agsty.

I don't bother your comment at all , I appreciate good critics... about the quality of this image, I want it that way, a lot of noisly grainy texture, I wanted the left side more strong for the viewer because in the original version I was holding my penis that is why the color si different there and about the originality, I didnt look for an original frame here. Just simple angles of me in the dark with some light on my body. For you what would be original?

I cannot give any specific example, but as for nude art things that matter for me are: good quality, good lighting, good composition and an original pose by which I mean something unseen to me, that would make me look at a photograph with an interest.

I understand you and it really makes me angry that some peoples want such art to be censored. What makes me much angry is, that if you make a picture from an opened vagina, everyone says itΒ΄s great and you become only good critics. Why closed minded peoples not accept the art of body?

I really find it disgraceful that on an ART site that we still have to censor our art out of fear for the closed minded idiots that wouldn't know good art if it bit them.
While this is a wonderful photo and you did a good job of a well placed deep shadow, I am sorry that I missed the original piece, presented in the way that you had originally intended.
