dude, i still cant get over how much i love this lol. i have already favorited it lol. i just need some advice on how to actually create these things lol. so how do u start off, like with what color BG and when u sketch it, is it just like the wolves outlines and such or is it much more complicated? my final question is, how do u get the color to look so good, is it just a ton of layers and u keep painting? lol. anyways, i still like this piece. id say one of your best pieces by you.

oh wow. I dont have the .psd anymore, but [link] this might help a bit. I started out by 'tracing' the wolf skeleton from the screenshot, then it was all reference from there(as in, no more tracing). It took a hella long time though.

it does take a lot of practice, but moreso than that, I found it takes a TON of patience. not only for the time investment involved, but also for understanding that the stuff you draw for a LONG time, doesnt look 'right'. And then, your coloring/painting doesnt look right, as well. Just a LOT of patience.

yeah, heres hoping it turns out as nice. Really just hoping the time involvement gets better each time too...omfg. It'll all be worth it when my digipaints look as good as some of the killer ones on dA, after 40 hours.
