Hey everyone, this was a bit of the story I had originally written for Chapter#4 - Imperfect . Though I really wanted to include it in the final script, I wasn't able to figure out where to place it, you know. I thought about placing right at he beginning, after Gohan travels back to the past, but then we would spend considerable time on a story that would end "quickly" (it's just a little part of a bigger story) and then build the main story from the ground up, almost completely unrelatable, and you know this usually don't work out, either if you reading a book or even more so, watching a movie; you get people invested in this story, when it's just gonna be a section of it, not really connected with the overall, so people might feel like they are wasting their time.

Then I thought about placing somewhere in the middle, during the chapter, hitting the brakes and going somewhere else for a while, but for a story this size, it would completely kill the pacing and annoy the reader as well, as it breaks the immersion of the main story. The most favorable place would be at the end, just before Gohan comes back and they wake Android 16, but personally, I didn't like it either.

So I decided to post this in an entirely different post, its own post, you know. And let people decide through their own headcanon, is it a OVA (LOL)? is it a tv special? is it a behind the scenes? is it canon to this timeline? Whatever, in the end I'm just having fun and think you would like to see this.

In the original script, it went more or so like this:

Gohan did it, he travelled to the past. He sees Frieza and his father King Cold, but doesn't want to intervene and mess with the timeline too much. Goku is nowhere to be seen (he hasn't arrived yet) and Frieza orders his men to wreak havoc, forcing the Z warriors to counter attack, being quickly overpowered, Gohan finally intervenes when he sees Piccolo was about to be killed. Goku, demonstrating a similar way of thinking, teleported to Earth due to the same reason. Father and son united once again to fight against Frieza and his father. Frieza is quickly dispatched and even though Cold transforms, he is just not on the same level as the two super saiyans.
[this travel makes Gohan rethink a lot of stuff, paying off with him using Piccolo's clothes in the next chapter].
Gohan being there makes it easier for the team to believe in him, he gives the medicine to Goku and travels back to his timeline.
