Love all the detail in the background
And the house design is so twisted in such a cool way

Very well depicted, both concept and colors.
'There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.'

Love this piece of art. If I may ask, is it okay if I make a 3d model out of this? In the end ill make sure to post a link to this artwork

Kudos! Great job on the detail, especially on the ground and the light effects.

I cant believe how you create this, is it the technical skills which come into to play more than the actual representation of the image in your mind?

I am not sure if I understand your question. I think both the sufficient technical skill and the vision is equally important.

No, you answered my question, I am just very impressed I guess.

FlyingLimes [2013-02-19 03:50:55 +0000 UTC]
The creaky looking windmill, the suspicious shapes in the windows, and the chimney billowing out smoke like a angry dragon.
I feel like this is a house children would dare each other to go near. And whoever got closest won. Even if the parents tell them not to. Though none make it past the split I assume.
So, does this twisted house have a harmless old person living in it? Or is it really holding dangers in it's walls?

Thank you It doesn't really have a story, but it's rather the harmless old person

May I ask you, do you get your inspiration from cartoon movies, or just movies in general?? This is beautiful by the way

Thanks Not particularly but I am sure that the movies I have watched affected the way I paint in some ways

Wonderful piece! I love how you created overall balance even with the topple-ing house. I have to disagree with a point made in ~sunshinerosesnDEATH's critique, though... They wished to see more detail in the background to give it more depth, but that would actually cause the opposite effect and flatten it out... You created depth by layering detail less and less as it goes back, making it look like there is atmosphere. Anyways! I keep trying to figure out what is going on in those little windows! Amazing job.
