Description I just felt like creating another landscape sketch, and as most of the time, I felt like coloring it would mostly ruin it, because I’m not drawing digitally and in order to make coloring on paper look good in such a large sketch one must have an advanced level of coloring skill, which I don’t have, but it was fun nonetheless and I really like how this little world turned out, perhaps I should make more of these in the future, but who knows.
This world was actually partially inspired by the book True Story, which might be the first effective fantasy book that do not take full inspiration from mythology, in fact most of the creatures described in the book are original to the story.
You must be warned though as despite being a catalyst of inspiration it was also written by an Ancient Greek during the Roman supremacy, so thing are bound to get uncomfortable.
The Author still preceded Collodi’s Pinocchio by getting his self insert character getting eaten by a giant sea monster first, so congrats on that I guess.

Anyway, this is the World’s edge a magical place that stays hidden behind Heracles’ columns, which create a magical fog that blocks the path of many wannabe adventurers.
Standing near the columns are the grassy and plentiful region of Astozka on the west and the rocky region of Fnir on the East.
Astozka is ruled by a monarchy that control the small kingdom from the capital city, which stands near a vast forest that separates the kingdom and the western column.
Fnir is populated by different tribes that constantly starts battle and build alliances in an almost endless conflict from which they are now trying to end through diplomacy.
In this rocky wasteland stands a tall plateau that resembles a tower on which stands the temple of the great Demi-God Sage Pdor, legendary hero and self centered dirtbag, who knows how to pass through the columns fog.
Standing in said fog but near enough the coast is the swamp coated island of Burglius, famous for its state of the art technology and its renowned rice.

Pass the fog we see the cork island of Sugheria, home to the water walking Sugheropods, creatures with feet made of cork, floating on the water near the carcass of a giant sea monster in which a forest full of life has started to spread.
Farther to the east there is the cheese island, a gift by the goddess Demetria ( this is not a joke this is one of the parts inspired by the book), where rivers of milk flow gently through soft cheesy hills, where numerous wineries produce water from grapes.
Even further East stands the desert island of Zariha, a place so impossibly rich that everything is made of gold, unfortunately when something becomes so accessible to everyone, it becomes worthless.
Many pirates and degenerates roam these wild seas, preying on the most unfortunate, but all of them tremble at the sight of the island riders: gargantuan humanoid with flaming heads, that are so incredibly huge that they use islands as mere ships.
Floating above the sea level is the Island of Lucernaria, where the embodiment of every household lives as humanoid lanterns.
Floating even further up are the Sun and the Moon, constantly at war with each other for reasons long forgotten, and then there’s the floating island of Olympus, a cold and frigid place with an incandescent interior, here two great mages founded two grand cities, Hormak: cheerful and joyful, protected by the eyes of their high priest, and Cripta a cold and frigid place where duty and hard work are a staple. But atop the great mountain in the middle of the icy wasteland, so high that one could touch the sky if they ever reach the top, a rancid and covetous being lays hidden alongside its disciples, praying to the Blood.
