this is in Hawaii? That's so awesome, it looks to be an exact reproduction of Byodo-in in Uji, Japan. I'd love to see this in person someday.

that's so cool! i visited the one in uji last year... i'd love to see the one in hawaii, b/c the original is really starting to fall apart. it might be like seeing the original 900 years ago when it was first built. thanks for the link!

Tell me is the one in Uji a much bigger park, other buidlings and open spaces? B/c when I went to Hawaii to see this I imagined a much bigger park, and then I find out it's all you see in the photo.
