Pulls us apart,

Only brings pain
But in the effort,
Fleeting joy,
Lasting memories,
Sunshine through the storm
Like the leaves,
They’ll turn golden in your mind,
And lay still,
Untouched,
And be glorious again in the spring
As time goes on,

Confusion and loss
