Its been a while since I've drawn anything skylanders related. I kinda forgot how much I loved the character designs. They're so bright and colorful, and I miss the goofiness of it.I haven't seen much of the new games. The last one I played was Swap Force (which I barely remember what even happened in the game tbh). But there is no doubt that Fire Kraken is one of my favorites. He has such a fun design, and I just love those warm colors (and he's a rlly cute boi too)

That was always something skylanders did well, They had really cool characters designs. one of the only things I really like about the series as a whole. You don't really see people talk about that (unless people do and I just don't know).
(mini rant aside) Really nice job on the piece, probably should have started with that tbh...Good job!

Idk if that's something many people talk about, but that's certainly something I really like about the games. There's always a few characters that manage to get my attention, but its usually the lesser popular ones, like Cynder and Gill Grunt. I'm not entirely sure why I like these two in particular. At least with Kraken, he's an energetic character with a fun color scheme. As for Cynder and Gill, I have no idea. Maybe that's why I'm just so drawn to the franchise. The designers just come up with these odd, yet really creative designs that just are just really neat, and I wish more people would talk about that more instead of the whole "character designs are so ugly" spiel (though I'm not sure if people are still ranting about that).
