This was one of several trucks sitting at an abandoned piece of land near my home. There is just something I love about abandoned decaying vehicles, though they may only be machines they were a part of someones daily life at some point in time but now they remain dormant, silently decaying a little more year by year. The last time this truck was on the highway was about 1989 according the the inspection sticker on the drivers side of the windshield.

Thanks, and you are very welcome! I love HDR shots, I just learned how to do them several months ago and I have fallen in love with them since. It has taken me a while to get them turning out like they do but they are not too hard to pick up on. Once again, I really appreciate the comments~ David

Love old trucks. The memories this ol boy could share. Hell, the tire is still good!
It's sad how we abandon things. Discard them for something newer. I bet this ol boy had some years left in him if he would have received the work it needed.
I dont know about 1989. I would guess early to mid 1970's as its age.

They are one of my favorite things to photograph when I can find them, That place had a several of them sitting around, I'm definitely going to make a trip back there and take a little more time. Thanks!
