The first week on the job, I did these style samples. We needed to find a style that would be fast (which pretty much eliminated color) and remain visually engaging. And could be easily animated in AfterEffects.------
"Alchemist Agenda" is a feature length test movie for Amazon Studios. I served as both art director and illustrator, working with The Hive (an awesome studio!) and Marty Weiss (the writer/director).
The Setup: When nautical treasure hunters discover a sunken WWII U-boat rumored to contain clues to the secret of alchemy, a betrayed Team 6 SEAL with a bounty on his head comes out of hiding to pursue the formula with a beautiful professor who has a secret agenda of her own.
