History

When Cane was a Kit, he lived in a den with his father, Grove, and his mother, Clover. His father was a Seeker, however he wasn’t like most. He realized what treasures the Tall Walkers had behind their closed doors and in their large dens. He also released that they left there windows opened a lot.

He would penetrate houses and see more than any other Wild Cat, besides the spirits of course, had seen before. He brought home metals, candies, the finest of foods. He also brought back stories of the Tall Walkers. They did terrible things, but they were so interesting to Cane. He swore to be like his father, and continue to research and discover.

One day his dad was off in The Land Of The Tall Walkers. Cane and his mother were home, caring for the den and cleaning. It was then a loud bang was heard through the wilderness. It was like a crack of lightning, however it was sunny and there were no storms. Both cats were puzzled by the sound, and further more, Grove didn’t return that night. He didn’t return the next day either. He had never come back since then.

Cane and his mother were horrified and depressed by his disappearance. Cane decided he would have to become a seeker, a great seeker, to ever find his father again. He trained and trained, almost getting caught on many occasions. However he finally became a great seeker and thief. He now ventures to and from the homes of the Tall Walkers, stealing and seeking, and looking for his long lost father.

Cane creeped up to the window sill, gently pulling his head up just enough to see inside the cabin. There was a hearth still burning bright orange. The curtains were hooked to the sides of the window. There were no Tall Walkers insight, they were normally on the couch or sofa.

“ Looks safe enough.” Cane said pulling the rest of his body up. He was now on all fours and he quickly leaped onto a near by table. He let his nose take in the smells of wood, char-coal, air freshener, and a fish.

“ Bingo.” Cane said as his head snapped in the direction of the kitchen. He had located his target and it was time to snatch it.
